Apply for a Building Permit or request a building inspection using our new digital application process. The City of Brantford is pleased to provide a more efficient and convenient new way to expedite the building permit process. The City now uses a cloud-based e-permitting software called Cloudpermit to process all Building Permit Applications. This process will make it much easier for the applicant to track the status of their permit, request an inspection, and more.

With Cloudpermit, you can easily:

• Apply for all types of building permits online, including demolition permits
• Check the status of an application (change of application status or additional information requests will be automatically emailed to the applicant)
• Schedule or cancel inspections
• Check inspection results
• Submit and request changes to an existing permit
• Pay building permit fees online
