Create a Cloudpermit account

The City of Brantford is pleased to provide a more efficient and convenient new way to expedite the building permit process. The City now uses a cloud-based e-permitting software called Cloudpermit. This system digitizes the permit process and will eventually help us transition to a paperless process. This process will make it much easier for the applicant to track the status of their permit, request an inspection, and more.

With Cloudpermit, you can easily:

  • Apply for all types of building permits online, including demolition permits
  • Check the status of an application (change of application status or additional information requests will be automatically be emailed to the applicant)
  • Schedule or cancel inspections
  • Check inspection results
  • Submit and request changes to an existing permit
  • Pay building permit fees online

Register your Cloudpermit Account

To begin, you will need to create a Cloudpermit account. Cloudpermit currently supports Firefox, Google, and Safari browsers. Once registered, you can conveniently apply for permits and easily track their progress.
